so, past 1mth was...
1st thing. my father, resigned from mgm grand paradise limited as director of facilities management on 11 apr officially and will join melco crown entertainment on 19 may as vp engineering for city of dreams. basically, that means jump ship.
ok lets talk abt the eldds performance. 19/04
well, was not bad, or i must say wonderful. that play made me knw how to appreciate arts. lol. but still, was really a gd one.
the rest of apr was still quite alright. mye ppr one on 25th. how?
may 2008
major thing: mye08. our 2nd last sch-based exam. okay, got quite some preparation. overall, still got problem in amaths only.
fri 09/05
lol vincent got inj. bleeding under his fingernail cause it was snapped by minibus door. ouch! we went to nuh for treatment and lolz was sent to childrens a&e. wtf! anwy, saddest thing is he cant pon sch tho 3days mc (fri, sat, sun). poor thing man. get well soon bro!
12/05 after the last ppr finally felt some relaxation and like load was off our backs, temporarily. well, enjoyed a 13th @ amk hub and 14th @ cathay orchard.
15may. returning to sch was a grrrrrrrrrreat stress frm our mere 2 day hols. the results were not very satisfying though. mye08 sucks! the cls morale for the whole wk was down as mr ben tan started off organic chem. eh, isnt that dry rite? methanol, ethane, propene...O=C-H-OH-C-H. lol.
and while the countdown for o lvl resumes, we notice that there is only a mere 2wks frm our mt o lvl (screw those hmt noobs who took their mt o last yr). preparation got into full charge, chinese words, chinese letters, chinese speaking, chinese songs, chinese books, chinese everything... wait! are we going for the olympics or the o levels on 26th?
gess carnival on 23rd may friday. well sundram & co.'s band won the 2nd in the "live your dream" comp. lol, abit defeat the purpose, 99.9% of the audience is students ourselves, so what for hold it during the carnival? anwy, could quite feel the mood during carnival lah. didnt really joined in (sry any yr 1,2,3) cos seriously didnt had the mood. brain-rush by cl o lvl.
26th was the cl o lvl. well, quite alrite, wasnt too hard rite? but wasnt too easy too. gd thing i didnt underestinate it. A1? A2? nvr settle for anyth less than tht. i aim at 1 (not being ego, but cl is one subj tht shld be able to score) so dont waste it. aft o lvl i promised myself to slack the whole day =) and i did. noth much really acheived.
after o lvl was into the proper hols. but ask any student. holiday? nope, i think its just a time when sch hrs are more flexible, lessons are more relaxed, reporting time is later, lesson durations are shorter and sch rules are loser. besides tht, no holiday is the proper fact. dont believe? visit the websites of st, lianhe, xinmin, mypaper, today, berita harian n sg tamil daily. all say the same thing-holidays are squashed, parents are questioning. kaypoh parents man. want chn do well and dont let chn go back sch. u ownself got tcher's degree meh? chn stay at home can get A1A2 ah? slowly dream! singapore parents, its time to wake up! pls be more aware of what are you doing all day. questioning the principal, marching into the sch, scolding your child just because they got 99mks, and say you scold them cos u love them. crap man, singaporean parents! wake up lah! luckily i do not have such parents. or else life is hell for me man!
well, under sg education system, noone can escape. incl me. 26, 27, 28, 29, 30, 2, 5, 16, 17, 18 is blockbooked esp for me.
first on 27th an ortg trg in the morning for part b. hey, first prp day of hol hor. less than 24hr after my cl ppr u call me go join in trg? nvm, quite fun man. stupid china driver, dont even knw how to go botanic gdns. end up me leading him. come on man, whose the driver? anwy had quite a fun day at botanic gdn. ortg clues were sooooo difficult to find that had to call ps/aps every checkpt. nvrtheless, quite proud tht my grp finish with 5 checkpts out of 10. take note, the checkpt area is damnnnn big. one symphony stage, find one small paper.
viet prep (thts when i started) then amaths lesson aft tht. amaths quite productive, and quite proud of myself tht i can do ALL qns w/o prob. *yay!!*
28th is a phy day. were late and lol.......well jack on the face. not me, but chl. haha someth is damn obvious, cant you tell, thruout the bloody 3hrs those ard me shld have noticed someth. ask me for details. well, when got the wksht just felt like tearing it. still say what... hand in by 6 jun, im not gg to. you blooooooooody dog.
29th was a more relaxed day but still, viet preps. went out at 0930 and only returned home at 1830. went to mustafa to get the things. by surprise, got everything thr and need not go to bras basah. and by chance, i saw a few cheaper items when gg past a small bkshop in the evening. wtf, nvm. its alrite. whats bought has been bought. lol. figures and prices shall be kept confidential =) well, overall 9hrs for 25 hrs of cip. i think worth it lah, okay, so, ppl in sg, dont complain so much cos consider yourself better than those viet kids frm the war suffering orange sickness, down syndrome, etc etc.....why does this sound so like tour guide? oh no, i dont wanna be old and long winded. kiss. everything.
30th wasnt still very relaxing. woke up with viet in mind. went for a not-so-productive amaths lesson (cos with bp, maybe u guys, esp trafford and rice, haha lol. nvm) my fault maybe. keep talking. cant concentrate. a small little viet talk in the evning ltr. my bro returned frm spec cse and merely got a 3sg to my surprise. nvrtheless, still believe tht he can go for ssc. all the best man!
the whole wk was helping in the vietnam thingy tho i not gg. feel so good rendering some assistance :) but my fellow ncos say they quite sad for me :( aww... what some of them said: (may not be accurate, heard by accident only, cant rmb who say too)
