has been 2 days since i last posted...

XXX

tuesday 15 apr. had an as-usual day at sch. then trg.

it was the 23rd trg of yr 2008. and i had my efforts paid off.
part c cadets were clearer (i think) abt spec cse knowledge.
however though i successfully conducted my first lesson thru visualizer,
it was not quite on schedule.
test had to be postponed and chpt 4 of notes had to be researched.
so probably still seeing them for maybe 3 more sessions before spec cse. lol.

hope gessncc's cadets can produce results in spec cse. 100% 2SG!

besides that, my trg, unlike any other nco, is lack of cadet activities,
though it is the toughest job in the unit.

wednesday 16 apr. today's heartbreaking. after a boring morning up to 10am, came pe lesson.
supposed to take napfa test 5 items and supposed to be aiming at good results. who knows...

sit-up=56 (5pt)
pull-up=8 (5pt)
2.4km=10.34 (5pt)
shuttle run=10.3 (4pt)
sit&reach= 39 (3pt)
standing broad jump=210 (2pt)

with that, although i have 24 pts, i only got silver. wtf!

well, besides that, chem test was still okay, everything was fine.
and i didnt knw that mrs tee lives so near my hse! she lives in potongpasir.

okay monday is always a boring and moody day, so i think wont be nice talking much abt sch.

i'm now like trying out posting with some apple browser called "safari"...lol they underline spelling mistakes like "ur", "abt", "lol" etc...

waiting... its killing my brain cells now.

have been kept busy these few days...

thursday have been quite a relaxed day...skipped both napfa and ap...
but still could not escape a late night cos had to set test paper for part c...

friday: darn it! after i spent so much effort setting my first test paper in my life, only 9 part c cadets turned up. so test had to be cancelled and i was so very disappointed. gonna screw them nxt tuesday. and beh said our trg has no quality, quite tre, but, he may not understand the ps...
had early dismissal @ 1645 for rhapsody concert...met with sy and co. (and his "arhem"!) before heading the spore poly...was quite a good performance. though i'm in ug, still feel that performing arts can go a long long way.

saturday's as usual free and easy but finally feel the pinch of homework packing up my schedule. hope to complete them asap so noth's on my mind.

this year's really a h-e-a-r-t-b-r-e-a-k-i-n-g year for my sports and physical fitness.
after the disappointment at going home empty handed frm sports fiesta, today had our last 2.4 km test in our sec sch life. thought i could hit below 10 min.

fiction 1: the top three can never be broken into.
fiction 2: the top three runs <10:30 min in napfa test.

however, who knows...

fact 1: the triopoly in 4h's long dist run has proved itself w-r-o-n-g.
fact 2: one of the top three clocked a timing of 10:34 min.

how better will i do in 5 stations napfa and x country? keeps me on my chair, thinking, thinking...

its raining, its pouring, the old man is sleeping... i just woke up.

dunno why i'm feeling so relaxed these few days. seems to have gone through the "busy period" of my sec sch life. well, maybe that marks the end of the pinnacle of my cca life in sec sch.

felt tired after returning frm an expedition in punggol. well, went to check out the rural areas.
and still didnt start with my heavy weekend homework. dont feel like doing, but still have to. =/

still feeling tired all over now.
going out soon, but its raining...
so i'm so damn lost.

these few weeks, after annual camp, finally have the little time each day to blog.

today was a long, long day.
slept late for 3 consec nights,
and was very, very tired.

first was emaths test. easy =D hope get full mark, but 13/15 is a better target.
then came amaths. feel so damn proud of myself, being able to do amaths qns with ease. yay!
chem saw a gd qn come out of sengleong's and my brain, wht if active electrode is with molten?
phy: popup test. if chl says this is half u mye, then all can go jump off 20 floor b4 mye. ipod flea... anyone heard of it? lol. not real. have a microsize ipod then accesories worth a luggage? crazy.

trg T21/2008
finally got back my receipt claims worth more than $100 n settle attendance for once, once and for all. peer appraisal for part c followed by a number of bullshit book-outs. part b had meet parents, part a having affirmation tmr. they will become official cadet of the ncc. finally.

hmmm past few days...

have been sleeping quite late due to the last minute touch-ups on the excel worksheet for attd to be submitted to beh...hope after tmr (supposed meet him today) evrything will be fine.

oral exam
despite speech problem i still managed to get gd mark (predicted) as all were good comments under the invigilation of "juliana" (nvr heard of her as a tcher in sch b4, almost associated her with eliyanah). gave some gd points but also missed out few better points, so, is tht +ve performance or -ve? well, in general felt that she was a little lenient. not bad, eh?

tmr gonna have emaths probability test...i'm not scared, but probability for me a lil rusty alrdy. cross my fingers tht can get at least A2 tmr.

**spent 1h 45min stuck in the rain and bad weather, but some benefits include seeing new areas of s'pore. i didnt knw this ctry can be so beautiful. whampoa area. saw some landed hdb flats
(they're just exactly like terrace houses, with block no), how a bus goes thru a small road, etc...

last wish: hope that this distance will be pulled back. like i always say, how we used to be.

its gonna be wordy.

main intro: ok these few weeks were damn busy.

wk 8
finally got a no.3 for UG open hse [but its gonna be returned =( sad...]
whole of week 8 was UG, UG open, and UG open house.
ug open hse finally took place on saturday 23rd Feb, which was a failure...ttl no of visitors <100, if my prediction doesnt fail me.our mock attack team, static display team and guides were so free that the whole open hse closed at 12 noon.

wk 9
straight after ug open hse is planning for annual camp. busy, stressed and tired.
this weeks a busy wk for the many tests, which ben tan felt unhappy (i mean, some of us were nothing against it and he was so tensed-up abt it). and one gd news for me...i passed amaths, finally!! although not very high mark (12/20) but i'm so overjoyed cos 60% is the highest mark of my life!! not like amaths pro who get 80% and still not happy (no offence)...

wk 10
was really annual camp, annual camp and still annual camp.
mock exams...were they easy? hard?

ace camp day 1
ace camp was quite a mixed feeling camp...its our last camp as a class...nvrtheless, 1st day was boring (study skills), food was also crappy, but highlight was the bowling...

ace camp day 2
day2 of ace camp much better...no study skills, but 2 blocks of 2hr courses (sex-ed and finance lit), then another 3hr sdc visit...lyk visit 3 times in previous yr alrdy, so, damn boring.but the finale night was exciting. fun atmosphere...

after ace camp straight into hols...but mine was spoilt due to

gess ncc unit annual camp 2008

introduction: gess ncc annual camp 2008 has been planned and will be run by intake 05, ncos 08. me, as the cas, will be very troubled with many many many many many other admin and log stuff during the camp. some things i take care include: regular strength check, medic records, log (flow of supplies), book in/out, and of course account for each and every cadet's attd. (well, thts my job)

day0: report at 1400, and prepared everything. was inside pe staff rm for camp manuals until 7++pm, even after most ppl had dinner. was like so tired out alrdy, even before camp really starts.

day1: finally annual camp officially started. at least 2 cadets were late for the camp...and another 2 claiming to be booking in but no specific time stated...thats the start of trouble. muster parade and open ceremony was ok (besides ava rm aircon screw up)...then was a little relax time before
lunch...and after tht bla bla bla...at 7.15pm i was unlucky enough to be called by this person-BCW to settle lots of things...took me 2hrs. missed the nite games. at least satisfied him...but for the first time i felt like a not-very-good cas.

day2: slept till quite late, and was told my only lesson for the camp was cancelled (wtf, thats my only activity with cadets for the whole camp!). nvm, but more bad news came when beh told us ubin trip was cancelled. altho i need not plan for emergency activities and was the ONLY nco not
affected directly by it, i was still a lil shaken as all other snr ncos were under stress, haiz... day 2 was also photo heavy...part b battle skirmish.

day3: clt zheng hui was a little crazy. he said wanted to bring up the mood for co nite. a company game was planned in emergency. its again more of photo taking for me. halfway my casio digitcam went batt flat. took beh's panasonic cam which quality was like...wtf!? and it auto shoots at least 1 or 2 extra shots for each snap of the shutter. lol so pissed off with it...buts thats life...what else can u complain abt? ARMS visit was noth much, and then back to sch was prep for co nite. zheng hui was rushing the video for co nite. i was late for co nite (at medic bunk, cooked 1 set of dinner for sick cadets). according to zheng hui co nite wasnt up to expectation. nvm, but a brainwash session by intake 04 left us sheik all over.

day4: break camp! but not as relaxed as you would think, i got a whole list of things waiting to be done-compile medic records, check classrm, bla bla bla, i had 6 things on the list. to be completed within 2.5 hrs. whats this? but nvm, still managed to go thru it...then there was no fd comp, straight go to dismissal parade, no closing ceremony, then was really dismissal. as usual and as expected, i was the last to leave (3pm) while others left at latest 1.30pm. cleared up ALL the mess left behind.

in general: thanks to all ppl who made my annual camp meaningful. wanna thank esp ppl in medic bunk for keeping me entertained (ops rm is too boring, theres only me) and those who got me breakfast in the mornings. thanks alot.

the post-annual camp life: after annual camp only came fatigue.

sch reopens!

1st week of term 2 is short. only 3 days! gd thing tues no trg, and thurs was sports fiesta, fri is gd friday.

sports fiesta: this yr is a disappointing year for 4h. we won numerous awards last yr but this yr we only had 2. besides, for myself too, its my first time in gess i go home empty handed after a sports event. hope can get someth in x cty.

good friday: basically stayed home can finish hol hw.

2nd week marks the REAL start of hardwork. but the start of 2nd wk was a health checkup. lol stayed with the reg no 30-40 in ava rm (just wanna skip morning assembly) we really need to work very very hard to get results, ok? and also finally return to duty. i was like damn enthu when doing trg plan on monday. like 3 wks nvr touch ms word alrdy. 28/03 marks the 20th sch trg of the yr.

3rd week is basically apr fool. many jacking here and there. i failed in this year's april fool.some april fool's jokes: ben n jerry "sold only one flavour" of ice cream, today reported that spore's gonna have and f1 team...like lol. nvm thats it.
mrs tan's fav sentence: "Sundra..."
