YESTERDAY
successfully conducted my second training fully-in-charge. like i said, the cadets lacked basic discipline and and made many common mistakes as cadets we would make. there were quite a few unpleasant incidents, i wont say what are they. in conclusion, not too bad, but not good at all.

sch was the usual same...the only interesting part was the free period when ben tan wasnt here.
wong chin yeow nvr come, but it was a pity that there wasnt el 2day.
aft sch planned tmr's trg...my ics were quite monotonous...their activities were abt the same...
i cant imagine conducting the same activity when i approach either part...well, shall leave that for tmr...

n if u noticed i changed my blogskin...plz give ur comments on the tagbd...
like lauzy has taken the initiative...thks

HIGHLIGHTS FOR YESTERDAY
(not in chronological order)
1. Seat change, do you think I like my new seat?
2. WCY gave spelling...which was described as "sucking his father's balls" n when spelling finished it was described as "he finished sucking his father's balls"
3. I totally nvr do maths homework, yet CL still didnt know, he was cheated by me saying "Oh, I did it but left it at home"
4. First Training totally in charge
(a) Cadets attitude sucked
(b) Activities not quite well planned, time not quite well managed
(c) Interaction with cadets becomes brainwashing session
(d) Conclusion: GESS NCC still has much more room for improvement. Way to go for BUC!

HIGHLIGHTS FOR TODAY
1. How can I lose to ricky in 2.4? Simple reason, "road block"
2. OBS Interview.....qns were so damn pressurizing...well, erm, nothing to say...

FIRST DAY OF SCHOOL.......
dont really feel like returning to sch. coz hols r better, n i grew 1cm shorter. its already more than 16.5 hours after sch reopens. life still has 2 carry on.
Change in tt:
1. PE once again becomes 2 seperate periods a wk.
2. new SS teacher.....Ms Foo, worked in MINDEF before.
3. DT also dont know for what reason come our class 2 give all the fucking briefing.
4. Ben Tan nvr come...one free period.
5. EL Debating skills=less of WCY (that'ssometh to celebrate)

im back frm evrything, o'seas & 3h07 chalet. i rushed back to catch the chalet, juz in time. well, the chalet was relatively, fun enough. nt totally fun, nt totally boring. i wish to appeal to the 6 ppl who went into red hse with me that it wasnt scary at all if u think it is. i wud say, 74/100.

I know that I cannot control the winds, but I can always adjust the sails. What I have left today, I asked for it myself. The past year, I feel that I have totally no regrets in life. I have cherished each and every minute. Despite failing each and try, I know that I have done my best in doing what I want to do. Now, I wonder what will happen in the days to come.......

8-9 Jun: Specialist's Course Central District Phase 3 at HQ NCC/2SIR/3rd Div Arty HQ
I successfully passed out as a Second Sergeant (2SG) after tests on IFC, M16S1 and GSK. at least 5 out of the 8 GESS NCC Sec 3 cadets who went for phase 3 got a 2SG rank.

im now o'seas, so life is much more simple.

finally i'm back frm HCMC (or Saigon), Vietnam.
[3rd camp since May 18, going for spec course (4th) 8-9 Jun]

Day0 30/05
went to sch to stay over, arrived at 2100h. but slept at 2330h.

Day1 31/05
woke up at 0415h to take the coach to airport......set off at 0500h, reached changi at 0540h. after check in was already 0625h, had to board at 0700. dint eat any breakfast. 0725h, flt 3K 551 at gate C13, southward deprture via runway 20C. smooth flt, reached HCMC at 0825h local time [VNT is -1 of SGT]. landed in Tan Son Nhat Intl using runway 7R. had some breakfast on the bus. it was the vietnamese version of subway. nt bad. went to the reunification palace, the govt hse of south vietnam until 1975. it has a really nice exterior, n even nicer interior, n more importantly, a great underground comamand rm. after that went for lunch, which sucked. dun wan to say more abt it. then we went 2 money changer....n i became a millionaire[SGD1=VND10,000]. then was the war remmants museum. some quite interesting displays there. then had a cyclo tour round the city. next was check in into the hotel. Arc En Ciel Hotel[3stars, owned n managed by Thien Hong Group together with Bat Dat n Bat Dat II Hotel]. washed up, n after dinner (in the hotel, much better than lunch) had some rest. starting CIP on day2.
